This was not in our plan today. We ended up making a trip to Menards because we had some issues with our water heater plumbing. A fitting came loose and we had a slight water leak (luckily nothing too bad) but until we fix it the water heater won't be running. We kinda like hot water around here so off to Menards we go.
Micah insisted on pushing the cart.
We checked out the fans while Andy picked out the plumbing stuff.
And of course we had to look at the Christmas lights. The kids oooohed and aaaaahed quite a bit in this area.

My scratch pad. I had no paper but needed to write down measurements when the kids and I checked out cupboard doors for our basement.
We also had to stop at Ace. Of course Menards couldn't have every plumbing piece we needed. That would be too easy!
After getting home and fixing the plumbing (whew. hot water again!) Andy got to see a little bit of the football games that were on today. Gabe watched too.

The plumbing that Andy fixed (and we both had some choice words for) is to the left. This is a totally different fitting than before - lets hope this one doesn't leak. We're still getting the hang of this on-demand water heater thing.
